How To Update The Plugin

There are two ways to update the plugin:

1. Automatic Update (Recommended) – Use the Envato Updater plugin with your Envato purchase code to receive and install plugin updates directly from your WordPress dashboard.
2. Manual Update – Download the latest version from your Envato account and update the plugin manually.

Before updating, we recommend reviewing the plugin’s release notes and creating a backup of your website or plugin files. This ensures you can restore your site if any issues occur during the update process.

Method 1: Using the Envato Automatic Updater

You can automatically update the plugin from your WordPress dashboard using the Envato Updater plugin. Simply install and configure the updater with your Envato account and purchase code, then follow the instructions provided in the Envato Updater documentation to enable automatic updates.

If you prefer not to use the automatic updater, or if you need to update the plugin manually, follow the instructions in the Manual Update section below.

Method 2: Manual Update

The manual update method requires you to download the latest version of the plugin and replace the existing plugin files on your website.

Once you have downloaded the updated plugin package, you can install it using either of the following methods:

• Update via the WordPress Admin Dashboard (recommended for most users)
• Update via FTP (recommended for advanced users)

The sections below explain how to download the latest plugin files and update the plugin using each method.

How To Update Your Plugin Via WordPress

Step 1 – You need to deactivate the current plugin in the “Plugins → Installed Plugins” section.

Step 2 – Retrieve the plugin ZIP file.

Step 3 – Then simply upload the plugin ZIP file in the “Plugins → Add New” section. Click on the “Upload Plugin” tab at the top and choose to upload the zip file.

Step 4 – Once it uploads, choose to activate the plugin.

How To Update Your Plugin Via FTP

Step 1 – You need to deactivate the current plugin in the “Plugins → Installed Plugins” section.

Step 2 – Go to “wp-content/plugins” location via FTP and backup your current plugin folder by saving it to your computer, or you can choose to simply delete it. Do not worry, Your content will not be lost.

Step 3 – Retrieve the plugin ZIP file and extract it.

Step 4 – Then simply drag and drop the new plugin folder into “wp-content/plugins” location.

Step 5 – Once the plugin files have been uploaded then activate the plugin again.
